ORRANA launches high-end diamond and gold jewellery collections from Israel

Ramat Gan, Israel, April 5, 2009 - ORRANA Jewellery, a manufacturer of high-end diamond and gold jewellery based in Israel, is launching two jewellery collections featuring original and imaginative designs.

The ORRANA haute couture collection includes the ‘Fleur des Vents’ designs as well as the ‘Flocons Lumineux’ – all created from 18K white, yellow or rose gold and using the highest quality diamonds. The more casual line is entitled ‘La Valse des Couleurs’ and combines gold and diamonds with a full palette of coloured gemstones.

ORRANA was established in 2004 by veteran diamantaires Orna and Israel Zahavi, owners of Zip Diamonds Ltd., a second-generation Israeli diamond manufacturer and exporter, in order to fulfill a dream – to create uniquely designed diamond jewellery of the highest quality.

Orna Zahavi is responsible for all of the designs and she says, “They are all designed from my dreams and from my heart.”

With a degree in mathematics, Orna combines her technical skills with her love of beautiful design, “Jewellery design is my real passion,” she says.

All of ORRANA’s jewellery, as well as their diamonds, are manufactured in Israel to precise specifications and show the most careful attention to details and painstaking work.

The jewellery is limited-edition and each piece is numbered.

ORRANA CEO Noa Hayon, who has had years of experience working in the jewellery industry in Italy and the United States, calls ORRANA’s products “manicured jewellery.”

“We use only the highest quality diamonds and gemstones in our designs. We are intimately involved in every step of production and personally supervise the manufacturing process.”

Hayon says that each piece is handmade by expert craftsmen in the company’s manufacturing facility in the Israel Diamond Center complex. “We prefer to do less but excellent work. Our jewellery is created for people who want top quality and unusual designs,” she added.

The high-end ‘Fleur des Vents’ and ‘Flocons Lumineux’ designs include rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, cuffs and bracelets, as well as brooches and hair ornaments.

Some of the designs feature unique interlocking parts which can be switched to create different jewellery pieces for different occasions.

Many of the pieces have movable parts so that the jewellery flows with the wearer. ‘La Valse des Couleurs’ more casual line features pendants, earrings, and brooches, most combining coloured gemstones with diamonds.

This line also includes “ORRANA SYMBOLS”, jewellery designs based on numbers, according to mathematician Orna Zahavi’s belief that each of us has a personal number which acts as a “compass” and can bring the wearer spiritual balance.

CEO Noa Hayon says that the company is beginning to market their jewellery to select clients in the U.S., Europe and the Far East.Future plans call for continually expanding their existing collections with new pieces. As long as Orna Zahavi continues to dream, her jewellery designs will be unique and inspired.
