Van Cleef & Arpels adorned the stars at
the 2009 Academy Awards

 
 

February 23, 2009 - Academy Award nominee for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in “The Wrestler”, Marisa Tomei made a dazzling appearance in Van Cleef & Arpels. 

Ms. Tomei, no stranger to the Academy Awards, having won an Oscar in the same category for her role in 1992’s “My Cousin Vinny”, complimented her stunning asymmetrical Versace gown with a selection of dramatic pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels Heritage Collection:

•  1941 Estate signature “Ludo” diamond and sapphire bracelet set in 18K white and yellow gold.

 Ryoko Hirosue, star of the winner of the 2009 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, “Okuribito” or “Departures”, wore the iconic “Snowflake” diamond necklace set in platinum with Pizzicato diamond earrings set in platinum.

Danny Boyle, winner of the 2009 Academy Award for Best Director for “Slumdog Millionaire” wore the Van Cleef & Arpels “Balthazar” diamond cufflinks set in 18K white gold.

Kate Bosworth, attended the world renowned Vanity Fair post-Oscar party, wearing the 1940 Estate “Fernis” bracelet with diamonds set in 18K yellow gold to compliment her beaded Alexander McQueen dress.
