UK designer jewellers’ work to be showcased at Goldsmiths' Hall

LONDON, April 16, 2009 - This year’s summer exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in London highlights

the work of a dozen of the UK’s leading designer jewellers.

Entitled “Creation II – an insight into the mind of the modern artist-jeweller”, the show is open to the public free of charge from Friday May 29 to Saturday July 11, 2009.

The jewellers featured are: Vicki Ambery-Smith, Malcom Betts, Susan Cross, Charlotte de Syllas, Dorothy Hogg, Daphne Krinos, Andrew Lamb, Catherine Martin, Susan May, Wendy Ramshaw, Kamilla Ruberg and David Watkins.

On June 12, the Goldsmiths’ Company is also hosting a “Day of Knowledge” (tickets 10 pounds each, including catalogue and refreshments) as part of Coutts London Jewellery Week (June 8-14).

The day will comprise a series of four timed illustrated presentations by jewellers featured in Creation II.
